"Chane Champion Of Oxbeau" is a short animated project about a young mute farmhand named Chane. She one day hears a beckoning call from the mysterious woods of Orintera. What she finds in these woods will change her life forever.

I wrote this character for a homebrew D&D campaign and so the animation is full of details from the world my friends and I played in during the pandemic. This world was my reality for a bit, so there was a lot put in to making the environments reflect that.

The project came together upon hearing the song "A Lady" by Tally Hall. It has an atmospheric melody that suited the Zelda inspired character and served as a perfect track to tell her origin story. Click below to see more!

“FETCH For Eddie”

This very personal animation was created to celebrate the special memories this little wiener dog gave my family. He lived to be about 17 years old, and was sadly put to sleep on October 7th 2023. Everything in this short visually is inspired by Eddie's little world: the sweaters, the owner (my sister)'s nail polish, his furry friends, the cozy farm house... etc. He truly had a beautiful life. One night this summer after seeing a very old Eddie, I heard this Fleetwood Mac song "Mystified (Demo version)", and felt happy memories with him coming back. I started to cry as I saw in my mind every version of him grow older to pick up his ball. If you know Eddie, you'd remember that he played fetch endlessly. He basically never got tired of it after hours and hours. The track came to its end, just as I knew that sadly my time with Eddie would too. So I made this little storyboard accompanied with the music and promised to animate the whole thing. So rest peacefully Eddie, thanks for being such a good boy. Your aunty will miss you so much.
